When Following Jesus Gets Hard
There are times when following Jesus is easy—when His promises comfort us, His blessings encourage us, and His presence gives us peace. But what happens when Jesus says something we don’t understand? What happens when His teaching challenges our beliefs, our priorities, or our way of life? In John 6:60–69, many of Jesus’ disciples reach a difficult crossroads. They hear His teaching and say, “This is an hard saying; who can hear it?” Some turn away and walk with Him no more. But Jesus turns to the twelve and asks, “Will ye also go away?” Peter’s response gives us one of the most powerful declarations of faith in Scripture: “Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” This episode looks at what happens when following Jesus becomes difficult—and why faith means continuing to follow Him even when we don’t understand everything He says. Sometimes the question isn’t whether Jesus’ teaching is difficult. The question is whether we trust the One who is tea…

Living a Life That Pleases God
What does it truly mean to live a life that is pleasing to God? Is it about checking off religious boxes, or is it something much deeper? In today’s episode of ScriptureLinks Daily Dose of Inspiration, we explore Psalm 34:11-19 (KJV) to discover the characteristics of a life that honors the Lord. David teaches that fearing God, guarding our speech, pursuing peace, turning from evil, and trusting in God’s presence are marks of a life that delights Him. Even when the righteous face affliction, God remains faithful to deliver them. If you’ve ever wondered whether your daily life reflects a heart that pleases God, this episode offers practical biblical encouragement to help you walk faithfully with Him.

Episode 4 Lord, That I may Receive my Sight
Some prayers are simple—but powerful enough to change everything. In this episode, we look at two moments where people were asked a direct question by God: “What do you want?” One was a blind man crying out for mercy. The other was a king given anything he could ask for. Their answers reveal something deeper than need—they reveal the heart. Today, we explore what it means to ask God for the right thing, and how one honest request can open the door to transformation, clarity, and blessing.

What God Sees Our Walk
When God looks at our walk, He sees more than our outward behavior—He sees direction, devotion, and dependence. Scripture reminds us that our walk reveals who is leading us, what we’ve been delivered from, and whether His presence truly goes with us. In this episode, we examine what God sees when He watches how we live day by day and how a Spirit-led walk reflects transformation, obedience, and a desire for His presence above all else.

What God Calls Vain
Scripture repeatedly warns that not everything labeled “worship” is accepted by God. From empty rituals to mindless prayers and man-made traditions, God exposes practices that appear spiritual yet are ultimately vain. In this episode, we examine what God Himself calls meaningless—and why sincerity, truth, and obedience matter more than repetition, form, or appearance. True worship is not about outward performance but inward submission to God’s Word.

The Message of the Cross Foolishness or Power - Episode 2398
In this episode, we explore how the message of the cross stands in stark contrast to the wisdom of the world. The gospel may seem foolish to some, but it reveals the true wisdom and power of God to those who believe. Join us as we unpack how this truth still challenges hearts and minds today—and how we can share it boldly in a world that often misunderstands it.

When Desires Deceive - Episode 2384
In this episode, we look closely at how temptation works in everyday life through the lens of 1 John 2:16 and the fall of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:1–8. Satan challenged their understanding of God’s Word, appealing to the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life. We’ll explore how these same tactics show up in our lives today and how we can respond with truth and faith.

Being a Doer of the Word Living What you Hear - Episode 2367
In James 1:22-25, we’re reminded that faith is not just about hearing God’s Word—it’s about living it. In this episode, we explore how to bridge the gap between knowing and doing, so that we become people whose lives reflect the truth we believe. God’s Word is a mirror showing us who we are and who we can be through Christ—let’s not walk away and forget the reflection.

The Truth about the truth - Episode 2366
Songs can powerfully remind us of who we are in Jesus, but they can also mix truth with phrases that need biblical clarity. In this episode, we’ll explore how Scripture confirms our identity as God’s children, loved beyond measure, made in His image, and freed from the lies of the enemy. We’ll also address common misunderstandings—like thinking we earn God’s pride through performance or that He accepts us without desiring to transform us. The goal is to embrace the beauty of God’s truth while keeping our theology anchored in His Word.

When we resist the devil and turn our hearts toward the Lord, He promises to draw near to us and lift us up in His grace.
